Following recent success in obtaining planning permission for a third geothermal power generation site in Cornwall, Geothermal Engineering Ltd (GEL) are issuing an Expression Of Interest (EOI) for suitable Onshore UK Drilling Contractors to facilitate the drilling and testing of at least four deep wells. The EOI also seeks the provision of a suitable workover rig / unit for ESP maintenance at GEL’s ongoing development at United Downs, near Redruth. Ideally one contractor will be able to supply all necessary services and equipment listed in the EOI.

GEL are hopeful that by the end of 2023, planning permission will be secured for a further two sites with similar drilling, testing and ESP requirements.
