On 9^th August 2021 Geothermal Engineering Ltd issued a tender for the provision of a geothermal electricity generating plant (circa 3MWe) at the United Downs Deep Geothermal Power Project in Cornwall, United Kingdom. 

The closing date for submissions has been extended until 1500h GMT on Friday 29^th October 2021.

The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and will be the first such geothermal power plant in the UK.
